Reverend Tracey Parris is a passionate servant of God, native of Brooklyn, NY, with a heart for the marginalized and a calling to minister healing through the transformative power of God’s Word. Growing up in the vibrant yet underserved community of East Flatbush, Pastor Parris developed a deep compassion for those often overlooked within both the church and the wider community.

In 2005, she relocated to Northern Virginia to further her journey in kingdom building. Ordained in 2014, her ministry began humbly as an administrative assistant—an experience that shaped her character and deepened her hunger for the Word. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theological Studies from the University of Valley Forge, with a concentration in Biblical Studies and a minor in Business Management. Additionally, she is certified in Youth Ministry and has faithfully served in various capacities, including youth minister, youth pastor, and associate minister.

As a Christian life coach and healing facilitator, Reverend Parris uses biblically grounded principles to guide others toward emotional, spiritual, and relational wholeness. Her heart-centered coaching and Spirit-led teachings empower women to heal from past wounds, grow in faith, and walk boldly in their God-given identity.

Currently serving as an Associate Minister at Shiloh Baptist Church in McLean, VA, Rev. Parris remains committed to spiritual accountability under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Robert F. Cheeks. She mentors emerging women in ministry, leads healing workshops, and facilitates retreats that focus on restoration through prayer, Scripture, and community.

What began as a virtual Bible study has now blossomed into Cherith Ministries—an online ministry dedicated to healing hearts and strengthening families through the life-giving power of God’s Word. Through Cherith, Rev. Parris continues her mission to coach, counsel, and care for women in all walks of life—pointing them back to the ultimate source of healing: Jesus Christ
